If you know more of the French language than I do (i.e. have studied it beyond Year 9/Key Stage 3) then I would much appreciate your help for one thing, with possibility of others in the future if you still have time for them. I want you, if you fit this criteria, to check through my first-pass translation of a circa-1990 interview with Ocelot and make any suggestions that you can for how to translate a few phrases which have left me stumped. The translation doesn't need to be of presentable quality as I don't intend – indeed, am forbidden – to post it online. And within this is the only reward I can give in return – the opportunity to read a rare insight into the director, writer and animator's life and work before Kirikou.
If you're still interested and wish to show it, then please do so in a comment to this post, or contact me in any other way. If I receive more than offer within the next few days, then I will go with whoever has the most experience in both French and English.
